I must hand it to the writer, Rahat Jabeen for keeping the suspense alive in the story and giving it unexpected twists. Here is what I thought would happen today; Tahir would say no and Aimen will realize she was wrong but guess what Tahir turned out to be more than just a cunning person, he was a thief (literally) and like the nana said a very selfish person. Today when Waqar asked Babar to talk to him in private, I was quite certain he would ask him to marry Aimen but I am glad what happened was completely different from what I anticipated. Waqar asked his friend to marry Aimen in order to save himself from further Beizzati. I must add that I really don't appreciate the fact that parents in these dramas are so focused on saving their izzat that they would marry their daughter off to anyone. Okay, before you judge me let me explain. I am not saying that Aimen deserves any better but why do we keep on reinforcing the belief that it is okay to marry your daughter to someone twice her age just to keep people from talking. Tariq is a wonderful human being and Aimen is lucky that she got married to him but Waqar should have known that his daughter was not going to put any amount of effort in this marriage and it is not going to solve any problems but will just give rise to more problems. Aimen is still very young, she has a whole life ahead of her, there are chances she could have changed, and marrying her off in my opinion was not a solution to the problem. No doubt, it would have been extremely difficult for Waqar to face people but what if this marriage does not work out? How will he face people then? If Waqar was very old or extremely poor I could have understood his majburi but a man like him could definitely have taken a better decision. Marriage is not the sole solution to all the problems relating to daughters and I wish our dramas would not promote this "culture".

When Aimen went along with the wedding, I was thinking that she will change for good but unfortunately she is still waiting for her prince charming and thinks that her father made up a story so she would forget about Tahir. I feel for Tariq though, the poor guy thought he hit a jackpot and Aimen was the khushi he waited for all his life but the fact is he just made his life hell!

The voice quality was not very impressive today and I could not make out what Waqar said to Tariq, did he ask him to "gift" Aimen his house? Someone please enlighten me. If he did, I think that was yet another selfish thing that Waqar did. Tariq is going to leave soon and I cannot help but wonder who will enter Aimen's life next. There was once a time when I really liked the fact that Aimen was not looking for a prince charming and was a simple girl. Things sure have changed now. Ayza Khan was dressed simple but she looked really pretty as the bride, I can't blame Tahir for going gaga over her! I just wish Aimen would get her act straight.

Overall, this made for an entertaining episode with some interesting twists. Some of the scenes though were stretched without end. The performances were brillaint as usual. Honestly speaking, this has to be the most unpredictable play, I have no clue what is in store next but I am really hoping that Tahir is gone for good.

News About Ainak Wala Jin Season 2 Coming Soon

Pakistan Television is all set to make a second part of its popular mid-1990s drama serial for children 'Ainak-wala jin'

The series was hugely popular among local audiences during the three years of its airing (1993-1996). Season 2 will start from where the first part ended. Season 2 will be shot on attractive sites of Azad Kashmir and other parts of the country .

Almost all team of the series will be the same except those actors which had to be changed because of their age. Shafqat Cheema will play role of villain. The first episode of the series will be titled "Nastoor jin ki wapsi".

The series is scheduled for airing on the occasion of Eidul Azha

Drama series "Ainak wala jin" was being shown on PTV on repeated telecast based on strong demand by the viewers and he termed it the main reason for the revival of the series in the form of a second part.

While I was watching Ashk today, my five year old happened to be around, I thought I should share with all of you her remark when she saw Rohail throwing up everywhere and finally smashing the glass, she said " mama what is wrong with him? Is he not in his senses?"….I must say good observation! Rohail why oh why did you do this to yourself? Was getting drunk to get over your troubles also part of every "legendary love story"? Since the story of Ashk seems to be inspired by "legendary love stories", I would like to know just how often did Sony and Mahiwal get drunk? And my second question is for Fawad Khan, Why did you opt for this role? After doing wonders in Hamsafar and Akbari Asghari why did you choose to be Rohail? It must have been good fun shooting these drinking scenes though, Fawad Khan had "FUN" written all over his face in this particular scene. Well, good news for Fawad Khan fans, there was a lot of FK in today's episode, certainly something for you guys to cherish.

I was surprised, shocked, stunned, dazed, astounded and bewildered at Rohail's wishful thinking when he thinks Zebu is dressed up for him. And I was equally flabbergasted by Zebu's shamelessness when she conveniently walked out with Chinky. And then she had the nerve to say to Bedi "Muje film ka bol ke khud gappay laagne ap ki taraf chale gaye". "Nai naveli dulhan ko ghur chor kur ap un ko lurkiyu ke sath gapay lagwa rahe hei"…say what??? Naye naveli dulhan?? The way Zebu judged Rohail after the "incident" was even more astounding. Some plays are emotional, others are depressing, some slow, some funny but Ashk my friends is just plain shocking! Why was Rohail thinking about his conversation with Madiha when he was errr drunk? Has Rohail just found out that Madiha loves him? Didn't she tell him that already on the night of his wedding? I am sorry but I am full of questions today! I was shocked, yet again at Rohail's mother's reaction when she found out her son was behind bars. She just sat there and wondered how? When? What? Mommy I think you needed to get up right away and swing into action, after all your ladla beta was in jail. But I guess it was too cold in the apartment and mommy didn't want to budge from the nice and cozy sofa. Moral of the story, shooting should be done in moderate temperatures!

For a second there it was good to see Fawad khan perform when he walked in and had the few seconds of conversation with Zebu but after that it was one disaster after another. The father son scene between Bilal and Ramzan Bawarchi had tons of potential but it was overly stretched and the magic was lost. After a long time I felt sorry for Mehru today, poor thing even after so much plotting and planning she did not get what she wanted. But you never know, she just might, after all yeh Ashk hai. This was actually a fun episode because there were a lot of scenes and dialogues that gave me a good laugh…way to go guys!

Note: I am really looking forward to everyone's comments, the Ashk experience isn't the same without the comments.
