I was completely blown away by the first episode of MDKJZM and I just could not wait for this second episode to go on air. The anticipation and the expectations from this episode were numerous and after watching today's episode, I can say with all certainty that MDKJZM is not going to be disappointing its viewers anytime soon. The Bushra Ansari-Adnan ahmed duo seems to be the perfect combination, add to that the name of MD productions and you have a masterpiece….story telling at its best that flows so harmoniously you feel refreshed and rewarded.

First of all it is great to see subtitles to make the viewers understand whatever communication Urooj has with his parents etc that was the only thing that was missing in the last episode. Today's episode gave us further insight into the relationship between Rehmat and Ahmed Ali. The relationship between the two friends and their conversations are so deep and moving. The chemistry between Khalid Anam and Behroze Sabzwari and the background score reminds me of the golden period of PTV plays. I really appreciate how the parents are being educated through this play and the fact being put forward that love is what makes the world go round. The recurring references to Ahmed Ali's abusive father and how it affected his life and personality and the way both these parents treat their children subtlety puts a very important message forward. It is great to see for a change a play that addresses problems faced by children who are abused in their childhood and how the memories haunt them all their lives…great job guys. The scene at the lunch table where Amina refers to Junaid as ghar damaad and the reaction she got from everyone was very nicely done. It was not what she said that was funny but the reaction that followed was hilarious. We found out today that Junaid is Shamim's younger sister's son and he was 'engaged' to Arifa in childhood. His parents passed away when he was little and since then he is been living with his khala.

Although Rehman threatens Pervaiz (his employee) of dire consequences if his son tried to forge his signatures again but that does not stop him from making plans to get his hands on Rehman's money and Kamran (Rehman's brother in law) is equally involved in all these misdoings. Razia tries her best to manipulate her sister to get a wholesome amount out of her but Zakia is wise enough not to fall for it and does not even bother asking her husband. Ahmed Ali and family visit Rehman and Rehman puts forward the idea of running a joint business in Hyderabad with the intention of helping his friend out. Urooj is doing a great job of being the son who has it all except just one disability, for a first timer Shehryaar Munawar is doing an outstanding job, I am sure he is going to win the hearts of many. Sarwat Gillani is simply rocking as Amina, she has managed to bring a smile on my face every time she cracked a joke, and this has to be her most memorable performance so far because making people laugh in an otherwise serious play is a tough job. I do not want her character getting serious anytime soon because I have not enjoyed a comic character the way I am enjoying this one in a long time. The fact that Bushra Ansari (the writer) was at the set to monitor everything reflects in Sarwat's acting and everything else. Adnan Ahmed has proved yet again that his story telling is spot on.

The chemistry between Mohib Mirza and Alishba Yusuf is remarkable. In fact the chemistry between all the actors is just awesome. All the characters are well-etched and the story has a lot to say and convey. I enjoyed every moment of today's episode and for those people out there who have not been following this show I highly recommend it.
