Those of you who had given up on this play completely should definitely take some time out and watch this latest installment. It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions and the story took an extremely unexpected turn. The entire cast was beyond brilliant today and there were so many dialogues that were truly heart touching.
My thoughts at the end of today's episode were, Oh my God, what is going to happen next? I can't wait to find out and I am sure many of the viewers who watched this episode felt the same way too. Zakiya's decision to set Aminah free, because she felt that she had been exploited for too long came as a complete surprise to me. I always had faith in Zakiya's love for Aminah but how could Aminah marry the man who was responsible for ruining her sister's life? The impossible happened today and it was done so well that it made up for how the previous few episodes made me feel.
Zakiya turns to Aminah's family for advice and talks to Urooj before going ahead with anything and the way she did it was truly remarkable. Apart from the actors the director deserves due credit for doing a commendable job.
When Aminah was with Junaid and the phone beeped for a second I thought it would be Urooj and finally the communication gap between the two will be bridged but little did I know that Bushra Ansari had something completely different in store for us. I must say though that I would still have liked it if somehow Aminah and Urooj could have ended up with each other. Bushra Ansari's performance all through today's episode was simply phenomenal. Hamza Ali Abbasi was exceptional in the scene where Zakiya tells him she agreed to the proposal and will convince Aminah too. Sarwat Gillani has done a fabulous job all through the play..hats off to all the actors for doing complete justice to their charcters. Syed Saad Imran, the child artist, has also done very well too.
Will Arifa forgive Salaar and let her sister be happy? Salaar is clearly not the same person anymore and he genuinely wants to make Aminah happy. Is this going to be the final closure that Arifa needed in order to move on with her life for good? Will she take the higher road and finally feel like she controls her life now? It can't be easy at all but if she reveals the truth than Aminah will stand nowhere. Surely, Aminah deserves better than that! Can't wait for the next episode.
What do you think is going to happen next? To be honest I am completely dumbstruck!
