After watching today's episode I am quite certain that MDKJZM will maintain its pace, excellent storytelling and all the actors will continue to amaze us with their brilliant performances. I am glad that Zakiya is doing great given the kind of people she is surrounded by. The scene at the office suggested that she has things under control and knows better than to trust people around her blindly. What happened with Razia and its aftermath showed just how low kamran can sink and no matter how hard Zakiya tries to be wise at the end of the day her heart goes out to her family and she cannot see her sister suffering because of her. Although it was Kamran and Neelam who were the reason for Razia's stroke but kamran being the manipulator that he is managed to use the situation to his advantage in the best way he knew how to.
Whatever Kamran had to say about Zakiya to the manager, showed the kind of person he is. No doubt his negativity knows no bounds but like I always say I do not want to see women being beaten up on-screen, arguments and harsh language should be enough to prove the point.
Arifa's decision to go to Karachi for further studies and Junaid's support for her made me even fonder of Junaid but at the same time the way Junaid gets carried away with judging Zakiya based on that one message was a little unfair. I would not expect someone like Junaid to fall into conclusions like that. I must appreciate Bushra Ansari's writing skills here, she really does not believe in unnecessarily prolonging the different twists in the story, like for example after reading the message, rather than keeping the secret to himself Junaid was quick to share it with Arifa and Amina who unlike Junaid have more faith in their chachi. It is nice to see an enlightened father like Ahmed Ali who keeps his daughters' best interests at heart while making decisions for them, but I am hoping and praying that he does not regret this decision.
Another very important development in today's show was Zakiya finding out what Neelam is all about. What she saw today would definitely make her 'reconsider' her wish to make Neelam her son's wife.
The scene with the two sisters (real and on–screen) Zakiya and Razia in it was very touching. It showed the other side of Razia, she may do what her husband wishes but in her heart knows that it is her sister who is truly her well-wisher.
Today's episode was as usual a winner; it had all the right ingredients in the right proportions. The direction of the play is epic, the picture quality is amazing and all the actors are well-suited in their roles. Looking forward to next week.
